While browsing the Lead Adventure Forum I read a post about a new sculpt of Marshal Ney, which introduced me to Wargames Illustrated’s Giants in Miniature, amongst which I discovered a characterful Sir Garnet Wolseley.
I don’t have plans to field this figure as Wolseley, who, after all, never left Korti. Instead he will take the field as a commander of a field formation, but just now I am not sure which one.
Compared to the the Perry Miniatures I have, this figure is slight, but the height is fine, as is the detail … I think it will look great when painted.
